Yesenia Garcia, Referral Specialist

Yesenia was born and raised in Chicago and proudly identifies as Mexican and Native American—Pima of Gila River in Arizona. Previously, Yesenia gained valuable experience working as a receptionist at AIHSC and now is advancing in the field of healthcare through working as a referral specialist to our patients.

 

Yesenia is honored to be part of the medical team at AIHSC with dedication to serving the community and ensuring patients receive the quality care they deserve. Yesenia feels her work at AIHSC role provides a meaningful opportunity to connect with and celebrate her Indigenous roots.

 

Outside of work, Yesenia enjoys spending time with family, as well as her cat and dogs. She has a passion for reading, listening to music, watching television series and movies, and attending concerts. Guided by a personal philosophy of treating everyone with kindness, Yesenia believes in showing compassion and understanding, recognizing that each individual may face unseen challenges.
