Addiction Recovery • Building Coping Skills • Self Discovery

Group Psychotherapy

Group psychotherapy for alcohol & substance use disorder provides a structured, context group focused interpersonal support system. Within the group process, you will learn coping skills and increase your awareness of the connection between the impact of trauma, loss, shame associated with addiction. These group processes support a spiritual/culturally-based approach to recovery.

Resiliency & Coping

Developing resiliency and coping skills which significantly reduce anxiety and depression related to addictive behaviors is emphasized in the group therapy process. We offer a cognitive behavior therapy skills group focusing on cognitive restructuring, coupled with interventions which are ideal for depression and anxiety, this provides alternative ways of coping with addictive urges, which in turn supports abstinence and long-term sobriety.

Personal Experiences

The group focuses on your personal experiences and emotional felt sense encounters that contribute towards your addictive process and provides you with personal feedback, cohesion, reality testing and spiritual enrichment among other dynamics that are curative in the personal and family/cultural system of recovery experiences supporting your long-term sobriety and drug-free lifestyle. We hope you’ll join us on this personal and enlightening, group enriching, spiritually enhancing journey of personal self discovery and evolution in your way of living.
