Child Counseling Services For Emerging Needs
American Indian Health Services of Chicago, Inc. believes in attending to the needs of all Native individuals from birth to elder care. As such, AIHSC offers counseling to children ages 4 and older. Children’s counseling is tailored to meet the needs of the child and the counselor will work closely with the parent throughout the counseling process. Our providers have experience working in school settings as well, so assistance in interpreting IEPs can also be provided. Children’s counseling can help with numerous concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, depression, self-esteem, social skills,
anger management, traumatic experiences, parent/child relationships and problems at school or home.
